Children from the Auburn Adventures child care program swing Tuesday on the Pettingill Park playground in Auburn. The Auburn Recreation Department program provides care for students on days they are not in school in person. Site Director Margaret Fogarty said students from kindergarten through grade six get support while learning remotely and get outside breaks. “It’s as close to school as you’re going to get,” she said.
